CES 2011: BlackBerry PlayBook Is a 4G Device

Saturday, January 8, 2011
CES 2011 has entered the 2nd day and we have again been seeing some interesting tablets released by a few companies. This time around, we heard about the PlayBook that Blackberry has been wanting to launch for quite some time. RIM had never kept this a secret and we all knew that it was eventually going to be lunched.

However, we have learned that the BlackBerry PlayBook would be a 4G device and would be equipped with the latest technology in order to stay in times. The PlayBook would run on BlackBerry Tablet OS and does not run on Android just like most Apple competitors do. Thanks to the user friendly QNX technology, you could multi task easily. It is a 16 GB device that sure would rock any geek’s world, and I am sure it would be a hit among many people.

The 7-inch, 1024 by 600-pixel multi-touch capacitive screen is slightly smaller than its competitors but in my opinion, it is actually its strength. A 10 inch screen is almost like a laptop but then a 7 inch screen makes sure everything is just fine without having any difficulties whatsoever. Look at the full coverage of CES 2011
