SAN FRANCISCO - The issue blew so strong asset sales related to MySpace. Although still looking for buyers who are interested, Google is considered as one potential buyer.

"The policy of News Corp. to sell MySpace has digelontorkan since a few months ago. if the price is set right, it will be many companies are interested in buying. Google one of them," said Greg Sterling, an analyst with Sterling Market Intelligence, as quoted by Yahoo News, Saturday (01/15/2011).

According to Sterling, Google is a potential buyer from the beginning, but the price offered terkendal by News Corp.

"Now maybe they are still interested but its value will continue to fall in line with the prestige of MySpace that has faded and lost its popularity. However with good management I think this can be overcome," said Sterling.

To date the MySpace itself is still speculative. In fact when first acquired News Corp., Rupert Murdoch has spend up to USD580 million. Many analysts predict the value of MySpace is likely smaller than that.

MySpace is the same fate with AOL and Yahoo. All three had enjoyed glory on the internet but lately have dimmed because of fierce competition.
Until now, AOL is still maintained by the management through a series of re-organization. Yahoo also clean up by closing some services that are considered less favorable. Meanwhile, MySpace over choosing 'sell themselves'.
