Motorola Milestone finally launched in India

Motorola has finally announced the launch of Motorola Milestone in India. Motorola Milestone is the first Smartphone in the country to have the Android 2.1 Operating system. Motorola Milestone is powered by ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processor.



The Motorola Milestone features 3.7 inch TFT touchscreen display with 480×854 pixel resolution, full QWERTY keyboard with 5-way navigation key and 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, AutoFocus, and image stabilization, 256 MB of RAM, internet memory of 133 MB and an expandable memory of up to 32GB. It has a dimension of 115.8 x 60 x 13.7 mm and weighs 165 grams.

The Motorola Milestone Quad-Band GSM phone also comes with Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA/ HSUPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack, Google Maps Navigation Beta, Google Maps for mobile, Accelerometer and proximity sensor. Motorola Milestone is powered by standard Li-Ion 1400 mAh (BP6X) battery which offers a talk time of up to 6 hours 30 min and standby time of up to 350 hours. Motorola Milestone comes pre-loaded with lifetime free access to voice-guided street-level navigable maps of 401 cities in India.

The Motorola Milestone will be available in India at a price of Rs 32,990.
