The chipset includes Intel GMA X4500 GPU which provides a better 3D performance when pitted against its predecessor G31. It also offers consumers an overall gaming experience as it supports OpenGL 2.0. It also lowers the loading burden on the CPU.

The chipset supports dual video and audio output as well as HDMI for easy connectivity with other multimedia devices. DirectX 10 support provides a better gaming and graphics experience with Windows Vista or Windows 7 as the operating system. The chipset also supports DVI and Intel’s own Clear Video technology and other graphical standards, and is capable of faster hardware decoding.
The motherboards also feature APS intelligent power management, USB safeguard protection and M-Flash BIOS recovery. MSI’s Easy OC Switch technology is also included to allow the user to easily overclock via the BIOS-located ‘Switch.’
Currently MSI’s flagship boards in this line-up are the G41TM-E63, G41TM-E43, G41M4-F, P41T-C31, P41T-C33, G41M-FD and G41M-FIDP. Out of these, the main flagship units of the series are the G41TM-E63 and G41TM-E43.
