HTML5 Developer (Mobile) at Bump Technologies (Mountain View, CA)

At Bump, we’re pushing the limits of what your phone is able to do when you are out in the real world. Your phone is with you all the time; it’s about time that it is useful for interacting with the people, places, and things around you. Help us envision and build these interactions for our millions of users using the newest HTML5 standards.

Responsibilities
Build mobile web apps targeting Mobile Safari and Android browsers
Build components of Bump and other apps backed with Javascript/Webkit
Interact with both iOS and Android developers and design teams

Requirements
Advanced Javascript abilities, especally Canvas; interest in learning HTML5 standard as implemented in iOS and Android
Appreciation for beautiful design; disgust for misplaced pixels
Some interest in other parts of the Bump technology stack (look at other job listings here).

Exceptional candidates will have
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Design skills: ability to create designs and visual assets
