Possible Cholera Outbreak in Haiti Continues

Haiti seems to still not over. Outbreaks of cholera that has claimed 3800 lives feared still spreading. Late last week, NHK News proclaiming that the medical center in Saint-Marc in the Artibonite province, caring for a patient affected by outbreaks of cholera.

Looking at the facts before, United Nations and health organizations in Haiti immediately prepared a number of precautions. They plan to provide more information about this disease to the public to prevent further distribution. However, world health organization is also still not convinced that the plague had a deadly disease will disappear.

Local health ministry said that more than 180 thousand people have been hospitalized due to this epidemic [read: Cholera Victims Reaches 2071 People]. Every day, it is estimated there are about 40 new patients were taken to hospital. Cholera epidemic has spread across the country and infecting nearly 92 thousand people since the epidemic spread in October last year.
