Samsung NX100 delivers 4592 x 3056 maximum resolution, 14.6 million effective pixels and 3 LCD in a body to cover virtually any shooting situations.
The good: In combination with new lenses with the so-called i-Function support, the Samsung NX100 camera offers a noticeably practical and unique ease of use. A bit of electronics and the newest firmware ensure for an extra piece of communication between lens and body.
The bad: It doesn't support SDXC. The Samsung NX100 does not have a built-in flash.
Design
The Samsung NX100 camera weighs only approx.400 grams (including a 20m pancake lens and battery). The Samsung NX 100 stated with specs, 4.74 x 2.8 x 1.36 inches, an external GPS receptor, an external EVF with 201K resolution, and a (non-articulating) display that's 921K amoled. And it's also a top compact camera.
Features
One new feature the NX100 has is the Lens Priority mode. When the camera is in this setting, new optics which has i-Function will tell the camera what exposure options to use. These new lenses also have icons on the barrel to indicate what type of pictures-landscape and/or portrait-they are most suited for.
Performance
The camera provides a very creative feature called "Smart Filter". In playback mode, users can apply seven different effects to the picture, such as the vignette, soft focus, fish-eye, or miniature effects. The "Smart Filter" provides not just high quality images, but also features that are fun to use.
Summary
The Samsung NX100 will be equipped with a range of innovative lenses and accessories to further enhance the user's experience. At launch, the lens line-up includes a compact zoom 20-50mm lens (maybe it becomes a optical zoom camera) to provide both high image quality and portability. A small and light 20mm wide angle Pancake lens will be introduced shortly after.
